Wave Machines are an alternative rock band from Liverpool, but their following doesn’t stop there. Popular in France, the guys have just played an almighty gig at Liverpool Sound City. We caught up with Tim to talk about pretty much everything.

Field Music certainly have some history – member Peter used to play with The Futureheads, but now he and his brother David head a new band with a new direction. We spoke to David about sibling rivalry, gigs and their new single.

Mad Rush MC has been at the heart of Manchester’s underground music scene since 1988 and is still going strong. He first started out as a DJ up until the mid 1990’s playing Jungle, Jungle Techno, House and Garage in venues all over the city at Shenza’s, Vogue, Psv, Rockworld, Banshee and X club.

It wasn’t until 1997 when he switched to the microphone at a club night named Spellbound which was a night of Experimental Hip Hop, Breaks & Drum n Bass with the live element which at the time was held at the legendary Hacienda.
